About The Litter Museum

9 billion tons of litter are added to our oceans every year. Assuming cars weigh an average of 2 tons, that weight is equal to 4.5 billion cars! And that's only in our oceans.
​The Recycle Museum is aiming to reduce that number by providing ways you can repurpose commonly littered items instead of tossing them onto the streets (projects can be found under the
